Terms & Conditions of Service
1. About Us
Your Office Sidekick is a trading name of Emma Daish and is a sole trader business providing virtual assistant and business administrative support to individuals and organisations. The business address is:

2. Working Together
By choosing to work with Your Office Sidekick, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. We aim to offer practical, flexible admin support in a professional and approachable manner.
3. Our Services
We offer a wide range of support services including inbox and diary management, project admin, EA support, social media, customer service tasks, and more. We do not provide regulated financial or legal services.
4. Availability & Communication
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (UK time), excluding public holidays. Tasks will be completed during these hours unless otherwise agreed. We will respond to messages within one working day and communicate proactively about any urgent requests or outstanding tasks.
5. Pricing & Payment
· Minimum Charge: Our minimum charge is one hour of support.
· Retainers: Invoices for retainer packages are issued 7 days before the end of each month, with payment due no later than the final day of the month. If payment is not received by this date, all services will be paused until the account is brought up to date. Retainer hours are scheduled in advance and do not roll over unless agreed in writing. One 30-minute catch-up meeting per month is included in your retainer package. Any additional meetings or calls requested by the client will be deducted from package time.
· Ad-Hoc Work: Invoices are issued on the last working day of the month for ad-hoc work and are payable upon receipt. No further work will be carried out until payment is received.
· Payment Methods: Bank transfer details will be provided on your invoice. Please notify us if you require alternative arrangements.
6. Termination (Retainer only)
Either party may end the agreement with 30 days’ written notice. This is a rolling monthly agreement unless stated otherwise.
7. In-Person Meetings
If we are meeting in person, you will be billed from the agreed meeting time until the time of departure from your premises. This only applies once Terms & Conditions have been signed. Introductory meetings with potential clients are not chargeable.
8. Delays and Emergencies
We are human and on occasion may need to delay or reschedule work due to illness or other unforeseen emergencies. You will be notified at the earliest possible opportunity in such instances.
9. Confidentiality & Data Protection
We treat your data with care and confidentiality. All work is carried out in line with UK GDPR and data protection laws.
10. Intellectual Property
All materials created by Your Office Sidekick for your business become yours once payment is received in full (social media assets only; templates remain the property of Your Office Sidekick). We may use anonymised examples for portfolio or promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.
11. Ownership of Work
All work undertaken on behalf of the client remains the property of the client once T&Cs have been agreed.
12. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our liability will not exceed the total fees paid in the preceding 30 days.
13. Fair Use & Non-Solicitation
Please do not directly approach our associates or subcontractors for work without prior agreement. We work hard to build trusted relationships and appreciate your understanding.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be resolved in the English courts.
